DIY Spring Wreath
If you landed here from my social media post or video of me making this adorable wreath, then you know, I made a HUGE mistake from the very beginning in creating it. So, I will address that, what I used, other things I would do differently, and step by step directions for this pink, spring, floral, Easter Wreath!
I started with a 14 inch wreath form and a large sheet of 1/2 inch think styrofoam. Right there, is where I went wrong! I should have used WAY thicker styrofoam or some sort of wood, built the wreath on the wreath form or built it as is and attached the final product to the wreath form!

Anyways, I traced the wreath form around the outside and inside. At the time, I did not have a wood burning tool or I would have used the hot knife and it would have gone so much smoother! But I was able to heat up my utility knife with a lighter to cut through the foam without the mess.
I then wrapped the styrofoam wreath form I had just created with pink crepe paper and used my cordless hot glue gun to attach that and all the rest of the materials you will see.
I used one inch thick pink ribbon to create a hanger by looping it around the top, securing it with a knot, leaving a two inch gap and tying a cute bow at the top. I then used a lighter to stop the edges from fraying.
Then came the eggs! I choose different shades of pink but you could collect any color of our choice or do a variety of colors for a Spring mix.
I then used a variety of faux flowers, shades of pink, white and a few yellow, cut the stems off, and secured them with hot glue throughout the wreath.
I then added a small pink bunny to the center and some pink feathers for a little different texture.
When I had completed the wreath, we owned a restaurant at the time, so I hung it on a wall there last Spring. When I took it out of my Easter storage bin this year it was broken!

To fix the broken styrofoam I pulled back the crepe paper and hot glued the pieces back together. I then put the pink crepe paper back over the foam and secured the wreath to the wire wreath form using eight inch zip ties. In hindsight, I should have done that from the beginning!
Steps:
Trace around a wreath form on to desired material.
Cut it out.
Wrap it in crepe paper.
Create hanger with ribbon.
Add eggs, flowers, bunny, and feathers.
Secure to wire wreath frame with zip ties.
