Drill and Seedlings!?

Every year I transplant hundreds of seedlings from my indoor greenhouses into my garden, and if you have done this in any capacity, it is a lot of work! Well this year, my husband found a hack that saved me time, energy and a whole lot of hold digging! The best part, it is extremely simple and I can do it on my own!

So the simple hack is using our Milwaukee 18V Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Drill & a Flat Boring Bit! I used a 1.5 inch bit but if you would like a smaller hole or planting seeds, like I will be too, you may want a variety of sizes. Be sure to double check that the bit fits your particular drill.

Once the bit is attached to your drill, place the bit at the top of the hole and drill a hole into the ground where you’d like your seedling. The best part, you can control how deep the hole is! My process was to drill a bunch of holes then plant the seedlings and repeat as necessary.
